This is my shoot from Sunday morning. And I can't possibly be happier about them! :)
Whenever I shoot someone, my goal is to make a shot that not only captures the person's spirit, but also has a universal, timeless quality.
Like how would you picture say, curiosity, or summer, or spring, or fun, or joy. I actually want to capture these universal traits to the point where you would want to buy the picture, even though it isn't even your child, or mom, dad or daughter. 
I absolutely love when I get to shoot shots like these. I get to see how much each of these little angels has changed, and become just a little more of who they will eventually become. I love that I'm starting to get more and more clients that are coming back on a regular basis, for me to record their kids' walk through this great big world! :) 
It's when I have caught a certain glance, or giggle, or smile that makes my day on a shoot like this :)
