About to cry with the UPS Man

I've been waiting on some stuff to come through UPS, because I'm gearing up for a wedding this weekend. Well, I heard a knock at the door, and was like....Woohoooo, it's the UPS Man! (yeah, it doesn't take much to get me excited, lol but anything camera related makes me crrrrrazy!)

Well, I go out on the back deck and I quickly noticed that it wasn't my usual UPS Man. He asks me for my signature, and I get started signing. He says....this one's from LensProToGo.....then he says, did you do some family portraits for J____ K_____ a couple years back? And it totally dawned on me that he was a past client!!!

I said yeah, now I remember you!!! How's it going?! And then he said...."I have to thank you for doing those pictures, you don't know how much I look at them, and how much they mean to us." " My brother passed away not long after those photos were done, and those were the last family pictures we have with him in them. You don't know how much I've looked at those pictures, and so glad we had them done."

I was totally stunned, and had to fight tears. That had to be one of the highlights of my lifetime. I'm so sorry for their family's loss, but so extremely glad that I could be part of helping them remember their brother. It makes me speechless that those pictures were of such importance.


I don't even know how to change the subject from something like that, but I'll wipe my eyes, and update you on some things. Well, they've got a photo from the Bridal portrait session I did for Traci a couple weeks back, and they are so fantastic, it's hard to believe I did them!! Just kidding, if you're Haunting Images fan, you know I've been taking my work up to a whole new level these days, and I can't wait to see where it goes from here! I can't show you the bridal pictures just yet, but I'll put some up after the wedding! Woooohoooooo!

I'm currently working on my new website, which should totally incinerate my phone, and strike fear into the other local photographers, so keep an eye out for it......I'll let you know when it's up.....but you'll have to promise not to lick your computer screen, lol! I can't be held responsible if that happens! lol, lol I cannot wait 'til it erupts onto the scene!!
